Okay, so, I’ve been wanting a Rolex Submariner for a while now, the classic black one, but I didn’t want the date window. It just looks cleaner without it, you know? Plus, I heard that the no-date version is kind of the “original” Submariner style, so that got me interested even more.
So I start looking around. I wanted a good fake one, like, really good. I know, I know, some people are all about authenticity, but for me, I wanted to try it out.
After a bunch of research, it seemed like the model number I was after was the 124060. It’s the newer version. I guess the older one was the 14060. I made a list of it:
- 124060 is the new one
- 14060 is the older one
Anyway, I find this website that seems pretty good. They’ve got tons of pictures and even videos of their fakes. They looked pretty darn good, I have to say. The 124060 they had was almost an exact copy.
I ended up pulling the trigger and ordering one. It cost me some money, for sure, but the real one was way over my budget, let’s be honest. A few days later it shows up at my door. I open the box and it is perfect! It was a 124060, just like I wanted.
And guess what? It’s amazing! It looks just like the real deal. The weight feels right, the bezel clicks nicely, and the details are spot on. I mean, I’m no watch expert, but I’ve seen enough pictures and videos to know this thing is well-made.
Been wearing it for a few weeks now, and I’m still loving it. It’s comfortable, it looks great, and it gets attention. People think it is the real thing. I’m not going to go around bragging about it being real, but it’s fun to see people’s reactions.
The Outcome?
So, yeah, that’s my story of getting a high-quality fake Rolex Submariner, the no-date version. It might not be for everyone, but for me, it’s been a fun experience. I got the look I wanted without breaking the bank. I love it!
