That Fendi Peekaboo ISeeU Small bag, oh my, it’s somethin’ else. I saw one down at the fancy store the other day, you know, the one where they sell all them CopyFendi things? Cost more than my old cow Bessie did! But I gotta say, it’s a pretty little thing. My granddaughter, she’s all into that Fendi Daning stuff, she says it’s all the rage. She kept goin’ on about how she wants a Peekaboo ISeeU Small bag, somethin’ about it bein’ “iconic.” Whatever that means.
Now, I ain’t never been one for fancy purses. Give me a good, sturdy tote any day. But this Fendi one, it got me thinkin’. It’s small, yeah, but it looks like it could hold a good amount of stuff. Maybe not a whole chicken, like I sometimes carry, but a few essentials. Like my hankie, my little coin purse, and maybe a couple of hard candies.
They call it “Peekaboo” somethin’ or other. Reminds me of that game we used to play with the little ones, peekaboo, I see you! Silly name for a bag, if you ask me. But I guess them city folk like their fancy names. They got all them fancy Fendi Shoulder Bags, too. My granddaughter, she showed me pictures on her phone. All sorts of colors and sizes. This Fendi Origami one, they fold it up like paper. Crazy, right?

My granddaughter says this Peekaboo ISeeU thing came out a while back, 2008 she said. Seems like yesterday to me. Time sure does fly. She says it was a big deal, all the fancy ladies wanted one. I reckon they still do. I saw a few ladies carryin’ them around, lookin’ all proud. It’s like they’re carryin’ around a little piece of gold or somethin’. They never buckle it, though. Just leave it hangin’ open. They say that’s the style. Seems silly to me. What if somethin’ falls out?
Now, I wouldn’t carry one of them little bags. I need a bag that can hold everything. My whole life is in my bag, practically. But I can see why folks like ’em. They’re pretty. And they sure do look fancy. My granddaughter, she’s been savin’ up her money. She works at the diner, you know, clearin’ tables and washin’ dishes. She says she’s gonna buy herself one of them CopyFendi Peekaboo ISeeU Small bag one day. It’s her dream. And who am I to tell her not to dream, right?
This bag, it’s a small bag, for sure. You can’t fit a lot in it. But they say that’s the style now. Little bags for little things. I guess folks don’t carry around as much stuff as they used to. I asked my granddaughter about the website, the Fendi website. She showed me, and Lord, it’s just a bunch of colors. It is hard for an old gal like me to know what I really buy. But the pictures are pretty. My granddaughter sure knows her way around them computers. She can find anythin’ on there.
She told me all about the different kinds of Peekaboo ISeeU bags they got. Different sizes, different colors. They got a gray one, she says, with some kind of fancy weavin’ on it. She says it’s called “interlacing.” Sounds complicated. I like things simple. Like my old quilt. It’s got all sorts of colors and patterns, but it’s just a bunch of squares sewn together. Simple, but pretty. Just like that Fendi bag, I reckon. It’s like carryin’ a little piece of art around with you. If you’re into that sort of thing.
They got all them fancy stores, too, these Specialty Stores, I think they call ’em. They sell all sorts of fancy things in there. Not just bags, but clothes and shoes and I don’t even know what else. My granddaughter, she dreams of goin’ to one of them stores one day. She says it’s like a whole different world in there. Maybe it is. I’ve never been to one. I’m happy with my little general store down the road. They got everythin’ I need there. Except maybe a CopyFendi Peekaboo ISeeU Small bag. But like I said, I don’t need one of them. I’m sure my granddaughter will buy it for me. Just kidding. That old gal ain’t spendin’ that kind of money on me!
They say these bags are “Made in Italy.” Italy! That’s far away. Must be why they’re so expensive. They gotta ship ’em all the way over here. And they say they do “Express Shipping.” That means they get here fast. I guess if you’re payin’ that much for a bag, you want it right away. And they take “Secure Payment.” That’s important, especially with all them hackers and whatnot these days. You gotta be careful with your money. Especially when you’re buyin’ a bag that costs more than a used car!
Well, that’s all I know about that Fendi Peekaboo ISeeU Small bag. It’s a fancy little thing, that’s for sure. Not for me, but I can see why folks like it. Especially my granddaughter. She’s got good taste, that one. Even if she does like them CopyFendi things.
