This here Patek Philippe, they call it Calatrava 6007G-011, it’s a real fancy thing. I seen a picture of it. They say it’s a remake, you know, like when you make something over again.
This PP Calatrava 6007G-011, I hear folks say it is expensive, lots of money for such a little thing. But it’s gold, you know, like that ring my John gave me, only fancier, much fancier. They say it has price like $33,000, I just can’t believe it. Why people spend that much money on such a small thing.
They say this here Patek Philippe, they been making these things since way back, 1839, long time ago, before I was even a twinkle in my daddy’s eye. This Calatrava, that’s what they call it, Calatrava, it’s like their family name or something, all fancy like.
Now, this new one, the 6007G, they made it all colorful, like a rainbow. I seen a picture. Not like the old ones, plain and simple. This one’s got all sorts of colors on the face. I don’t know, seems a bit much to me, but what do I know?
And this number, 6007G-011, that’s like its special name, I guess. Like how my Bessie’s got a number on her tag, so we know which cow she is. This one, it’s a 6007G-011, a special one, they say.
I hear tell, they sell these watches on this thing called, “Chrono24” or something. Sounds made up to me. But they say you can find all sorts of these Patek Philippe watches there, this 6007G-011 and others too. I don’t really know about that thing, sounds like a scam.
This other number, 6007G-001, that’s another one of these fancy watches. Looks a lot like the other one, this 6007G-011, just a little different, I guess. They’re all Patek Philippe, all Calatrava, all expensive!
They say this Calatrava name, it comes from some old knights, from way back when. Knights in shining armor, like in them storybooks. These knights, they had a special name, Calatrava, and these watches, they took that name. Don’t ask me why, I just don’t know those things.

1932, that’s a long, long time ago. That’s before my time, that’s for sure. And this Stern family, they made the faces for the watches, the part with the numbers. Then they bought the whole thing, this Patek Philippe. I guess when people have a lot of money, they just want more.
They had another one, the 5196. Came out in 2004, not so long ago. They made it with yellow gold, white gold, rose gold, even platinum. Fancy stuff, this platinum. More expensive than gold, they say. This 5196, it had a special engine inside, a 215PS, they call it. That’s how it works, I guess.
This whole Patek Philippe Calatrava thing, it’s a whole lot of fuss for a little watch. But folks sure do like ’em. They pay big money for ’em, these 6007G-011 and all the others. It is really hard to understand. But that’s none of my business, I suppose.
I reckon if you got the money, and you want a fancy watch, then this Patek Philippe Calatrava 6007G-011 is the one for you. Just remember, it’s gonna cost you a pretty penny!
