Okay, so, I’ve been wanting to get my hands on one of these CopyOMEGA Ω Speedmaster Skywalker X-33 Classic Style watches for a while now. I finally did it. I went ahead and ordered one online. You know, it’s one of those things that you see and you’re like, “Yeah, that’s cool, but do I really need it?” But then you think about it some more, and it’s like, “Well, maybe I do.”
So the package arrived, and I ripped that thing open like a kid on Christmas morning. Inside, there’s this fancy box, and inside that, there’s the watch. First impression? It’s a beast! I mean, it’s big, it’s got all these buttons and numbers all over it. It’s definitely not your grandpa’s watch, that’s for sure.
I’m not gonna lie, I spent a good chunk of time just figuring out how to set the time. I mean, this thing has so many functions, it’s insane. It’s got all this stuff, this watch is quartz chronograph, which I guess is a fancy way of saying it’s got a stopwatch and uses a battery, and the movement is calibre 5619.
And the battery, apparently it lasts for like 24 months, which is pretty wild. I’ve had phones that don’t even last that long. I guess that’s what you get when you’re dealing with something that’s space-ready. Anyway, after a bit of trial and error, I finally got the time set.
Now, I know this watch is supposed to be, like, a tribute to the astronauts and all that, which is cool. I mean, who wouldn’t want a watch that’s got some connection to space, right? I started playing around with the different modes. It’s got all these different displays, and you can switch between them by pressing the buttons on the side. It’s a bit like having a mini-computer on your wrist.
I tried on the watch, and man, it feels solid. It’s got some weight to it, but not in a bad way. It’s like, you know you’re wearing something substantial. I guess it’s made of grade 2 titanium, 45mm in diameter and 15.1mm thickness. It’s kind of cool knowing that this watch has all this history behind it.
I’ve been wearing it around for a few days now, and I gotta say, I’m digging it. It’s definitely a conversation starter. It is a cool feeling, and to be honest, I haven’t even scratched the surface of what this thing can do. I’m still learning about all the different features.
Overall, I’m happy with my purchase. It’s a unique watch, and it’s fun to wear. It’s not every day you get to wear something that’s got a connection to space exploration. This watch has so many functions that I probably won’t even use half of them, but it’s still cool to know they’re there. I’m gonna keep playing around with it and see what else I can discover. I mean, this thing is supposed to be able to do all sorts of crazy stuff, like track multiple time zones and set alarms. It’s pretty wild. I’m not sure when I’ll ever need to use all those features, but hey, it’s good to know they’re there, right?
So yeah, that’s my experience with the CopyOMEGA Ω Speedmaster Skywalker X-33 Classic Style so far. It’s a cool watch, it’s got a lot of history, and it’s just plain fun to mess around with. I can say that it’s a pretty awesome piece of tech.
