Well, my grandson, he’s always going on about these fancy watches. This one, it’s black as coal, and got all them little dials and numbers. Says it’s like the one them astronaut fellas wore when they went to the moon.

I reckon it’s a man’s watch, all big and sturdy. Not like them dainty little things the ladies wear. This CopyOMEGA Speedmaster Apollo 8, it’s for someone who works with their hands, I suppose. Though, who’s gonna wear something this pricey out in the fields? Not me, that’s for sure! I’d be scared to scratch it up.
They say it’s a copy, that means it ain’t the real deal, right? But it looks just like them pictures he showed me. Shiny and black. He says it’s s’posed to be like the dark side of the moon, whatever that means.

My grandson, he says this watch is special. Says it’s got something to do with the Apollo 8 mission. I don’t know much about that, but I remember when them men went up to the moon. We watched it on that old black and white TV. Whole town was gathered ’round, watching them bounce around up there.

He says you can only get these CopyOMEGA Speedmaster Apollo 8 “Dark Side of the Moon” watches in certain stores. Specialty stores, he calls them. Not just any old place. Makes them sound even more fancy, don’t it?
I asked him, “Why’s it gotta be so special?” He just says, “It just is, Grandma.” Young folks these days, they got their own way of thinking, I suppose. I don’t understand it. Maybe the moon affected their brain, I don’t know.
These specialty stores, they ain’t like the general store down the road. They probably got carpets and fancy lights and all. I bet they even got them little cookies they give out for free.
I reckon folks who buy these watches, they probably go to them specialty stores all the time. Not me. I’m happy with my little Timex. Tells the time just fine, and I ain’t gotta worry about scratching it up when I’m tending to my chickens.
It Is A Good Copy Watch, If You Have Money
But this CopyOMEGA Speedmaster Apollo 8, it is a nice looking watch, I’ll give it that. If you got the money, and you like them space things, then maybe it’s worth it. It’s a copy, but it seems like a good one.
But like I said, you can only find them in those specialty stores. So if you want one, you gotta go find one of them places. It is black and shiny. The CopyOMEGA Speedmaster Apollo 8 “Dark Side of the Moon”. That’s what they call it.
I still don’t know why they call it “Dark Side of the Moon.” Maybe it’s always dark over there. I should ask my grandson. He’d probably know. If I see a picture of this watch, I’ll know it, cause it is all black. That’s a good thing, I think, for a man’s watch. This copy one is good enough for a man, I think.
